BIO

I was first introduced to art when I was young. My father showed me his work and I was in awe. After that, I wanted to be an artist. Well, that is, after deciding I couldn’t be a member of Starfleet or a wizard. After having that epiphany, I could be found hiding in the art room covered in charcoal and smelling of turpentine. My love extended into other genres, like visual communications. I received a degree in digital media from my local community college. Here I learned an important lesson, there were other places that existed outside of my small county and Virginia should not be associated with West Virginia, they are very, very different. This was also the time I picked up my first camera, even though it was a Canon. I then attended The Academy of Art University and received a B.A. in Photography. I grew and became even more diversified, not only on a personal level but also my art.

Fast forward to today. I am still that goofy girl trying to make people laugh and making art. I enjoy trying to find ways to mix all my favorite genres together.  Sometimes my experiments are happy mistakes but I tell everyone I meant to do it! I am influenced by some of the greats. This is what makes it possible for me to create unique and innovative work. By mixing concept driven images with the emotional response of fine art, my images are memorable and original. Noting my aforementioned career endeavors, I have no problem thinking big and out of this world. Every one of my projects are personal and I take pride in making each, paying attention to every detail and giving the client exactly what they want.
